Jakov Fak - bronze on Winter Olympic games in Vancouver
Young Croatian Jakov Fak became the first winner of Olympic medal in nordic discipline ever! He won bronze medal in men 10 km sprint distance in biathlon! His origins are reaching from Mrkopalj - a small place in Gorski kotar known as main Croatian biathlon center (Zagmajna) which have tonight many reasons to celebrate his fantastic achievement! Also, Jakov has won already bronze medal in World biathlon championships exactly one year before - in 2009 in South Korea finishinh third, 17 seconds behind legendary Ole Einar Bjørndalen. President of Croatian orienteering club "Ris" congragulated Jakov, his family and all members of Croatia who have the honour to be part of Winter Olympic games 2010. We would also use this oportunity and congragulate Jakov once again on his extrodinary result!
