Croatia open - second day info
Last days we completed paper-work with authoraties of city of Opatija and we got all aprovements from 
major soo YES, we will have atractive beach „Tomaševac“ as finish area for second day of Croatia open. As we have mentioned before, Opatija is one of the most interesting towns in northern Adriatic coast for sprint events perfectly combining urban and non-urban environment. Finish area is placed only 20 m from hotel „Ambasador“ on sand beach suronded by stony cliffs ofering view towards city of Rijeka, island of Krk and island of Cres. Please note that on this stage we will not provide you reserved parking area and it is your own responsobility to find parking for your vehicle. Other posibility is to use organized bus transport (provided by organizeer).
Our course-planing team is working constantly to make courses more attractive and more chalaging for you soo in this purpose we are regullary making terrain-examinations and correcting courses. Parts of possible route choises are presented on this video made last week in competition area in Opatija.
Beside sport activities, as our slogan tell´s you – „Orienteering adventures for You!“ in our event we will provide you also other programme. Therfore, after sprint distance in finish area we will organize „Orienteering beach party“ with election of orienteering miss. Host and the leader of „Orienteering beach party“ in Opatija will be famous Croatian musican, Dražen Turina - Šajeta.
